Hunting & fishing in “Uvildy”

The area provide hunting for a wild boar, Siberian roe, bear, blackcock, ptarmigan, quail, duck, goose, fox, ermine, polecat, wolf, raccoon, hare, muskrat. There are seven freshwater lakes and three brine lakes where you can go fishing for carp, crucian and ruff.

August-September: from +22°C/+24°C to +10°C.
October-November: from +13°C to -10°C.
December-January: from -5°C до -21°C.
May: from +5°C to +16°C.

Recommendation and requirements

The important requirement is to observe safety precautions and the rules of shooting. Tourists are recommended to make inoculations against tetanus, encephalitis.

Foreign hunter is permitted to take to Russia for hunting purposes rifling and smooth-barrel fire arms without restriction in caliber and amount of sporting carridge and amunition. Trophy export is made in accordance with International Rules and Requirements of custom service.

General kinds of hunting

Wild Boor Hunting

Period of hunting: 15.10-15.12.
Way of hunting: enclosure, ambush.
Trophies: head with fangs (5-15 kg). Fangs are 5-10 cm long.
Environment: forests and marsy territories of the hunting farm. It is recommended grazing fire arm and also rifle shot with bullets.

Siberian roe Hunting

Period of hunting: 25.08-15.11 (bucks trophy shoot), 01.11-20.01 (up to 20.12) (sports hunting).
Way of hunting: enclosure, ambush.
Trophies: skulls with horns (850-1500 gr). The adult buck’s horn are usually long (up to 40 cm) with 3 or 5 branches.
Environment: forest and forest plantations, marshy territories of the hunting farm. It is also recommended grazing fire arm and also rifle-shot with grape-shot.

Bear Hunting

Period of hunting: 26.08-31.12.
Way of hunting: out of the cover.
Trophies: coat.
Environment: forest.

Black-cock, Partridge, Quail Hunting

Period of hunting: 01.09-31.12.
Way of hunting: shelter of branches, trench.
Trophies: black-cock (up to 1800-2500 gr), partridge (600-800 gr).
Environment: fields, bushes, marshes.

Duck and Goose Hunting

Period of hunting: 01.09-05.11.
Way of hunting: out of the cover (in a hover, french).
Environment: lakes, marsh.

Fox, Ermine Hunting

Period of hunting: 15.10-28-02.
Way of hunting: traps.
Trophies: skin, head.
Environment: forest.

Wolf Hunting

Period of hunting: all-the-year-round, without restriction.
Way of hunting: traps, enclosure.
Trophies: skin, head (adult dog’s weight is up to 50 kg)
Environment: forest, steppe.

Racoon Hunting

Period of hunting: 01.11-28.02.
Way of hunting: following the hounds.
Trophies: skin.
Environment: fields, forest plantations.

Hare Hunting

Period of hunting:01.11-28.02.
Way of hunting: traps (hare), shoot (hare and fox).
Trophies: skin.Environment: forest, steppe and fields.

Muskrot Hunting

Period of hunting: 01.11-28.02.
Way of hunting: traps in the holes.
Trophies: skin (adult animal is up to 1-1.2 kg).
Environment: lakes, marshes.
